hi some of our members have to go to a tribunal service to get DLA have you any views that can help.
Has anyone recently been through a tribunal with DLA?
If so how did you find it and have you any advice for people who have to go through one eg. what kind of questions are asked, are you given a fair trial.
How do you rate the new system.

Don't forget this is the North East web site but we do have a support group and you can join this by ringing 0191 51930015.
the group meets monthly and we offer support , help with advice, and answer any questions you may have.
The best thing about it is you make friends that know how you are feeling and don't judge you on anything.
This group is a charity and needs your support. your input is very useful to us.

the meeting dates are as follows.
sunderland- March 2nd, april 6th, may 11th, june 1st, july 6th, august 10th, sept 7th, oct 5th, nov 2nd, dec 7th.
Seaham- march 12th, april 9th, may 14th, june 11th, july 9th, august 13th, sept 10th, oct 8th, nov 10th, dec 7th.

Thanks to everyone who attended the xmas party.
We had a good time. Well that is it for another year.
Please look after yourself, think possitive and enjoy everything that you do, As tomorrow you will pay for it but at least you didn't give up.

We had a good time on monday. Thanks to everyone who attened. We had the quiz, raffle and updates.
As usual we had loads of food brought in by the members.
Xmas tickets are going fast so please ring doc if you need your tickets, as we need the numbers in for the catering.
